Review of translator::Translate English Text to Japanese Romaji?








Even               Hillary               needs               a               diplomatic               envoy               as               a               translator               in               her               vision               of               the               "Global               Village".

Any               Adult               over               the               age               of               27               will               remember               the               time               that               I               am               about               to               recall               to               your               mind.

Do               you               remember               back               in               the               day,               when               your               parents               were               (in               your               eyes               anyway!)               complete               bumbling               idiots               who               must               have               hatched               out               of               an               egg               fully               grown.

Or               so               you               thought               because               they               obviously               were               either               never               ever               young               or               they               were               to               you               so               damned               old               that               they               didn't               remember               that               far               back?

Do               you               remember               those               days?
               Well               fast               forward               to               the               present               day.

Wow!

You               now               realize               that               your               parents               were               not               quite               so               stupid               after               all,               right?

If               since               that               time               you               have               become               a               parent               yourself               you               now               see               that               they               were               not               only               not               idiots,               they               were               freakin'               genius'!

Too               bad               that               they               weren't               speaking               a               language               that               you               understood               back               then               because               they               could               have               helped               you               in               the               crisis               that               you               either               are               currently               facing               or               are               about               to.

Teenage               parenting               is               tougher               and               less               rewarding               than               at               any               other               time               in               history.

While               conversely,               being               a               youth               in               society               today               is               like               no               other               time               period               in               history.

Thus               parents               are               left               at               a               loss               to               advise               their               offspring               of               what               to               expect               or               what               to               watch               out               for               anymore.

Many               young               adults               in               their               late               teens               19               or               so,               and               those               in               their               early               20's               do               not               even               realize               that               the               fact               that               they               survived               their               adolescence               is               in               itself               a               modern               miracle.
               I               find               it               truly               unlikely               that               in               another               300-               500               years               there               will               be               any               racial               or               cultural               separatism               remaining               in               the               "Global               Village"               of               the               near               future.

That               is               of               course               assuming               that               our               civilization               survives               it's               current               growing               pains               to               make               it               through               another               century               or               two.

The               reasoning               that               I               am               following               when               I               make               this               rather               unconventional               sounding               prediction               is               that               if               you               look               around               at               teens               and               preteens               today               they               are               all               listening               to               the               same               kinds               of               music,               they               are               all               dressing               in               that               baggy,               oversized,               hand-me-down               look               that               hitherto               was               never               popular               with               young               people.

They               are               wearing               the               same               types               of               hair               styles               and               tee               shirts               with               slogans               and               Pop               Culture               Icons               emblazoned               upon               them               and               most               significant               is               that               if               you               listen               to               your               teenager               talking               to               his               friends               and               contemporaries,               regardless               of               color,               ethnicity,               or               genealogical               differences               between               individual               members               they               are               all               becoming               part               of               the               same               tribe.
               Mind               you,               most               adults               understand               about               two               words               in               every               ten               that               their               children               are               speaking               but               the               hip               hop               fusion               linguistics               coming               from               Hispanic,               black,               and               white               adolescents               is               one               single               language.

It               doesn't               matter               that               we,               the               wellspring               from               which               they               flow               need               a               Hop               to               English               dictionary               or               a               younger               sibling               of               theirs               to               translate               the               phrases               they               use               into               something               intelligible,               they               are               all               communicating               amongst               themselves.

The               barriers               of               race               and               geographic               origin               are               crumbling               and               falling               to               ruin.

There               seems               to               be               more               interracial               couplets               now               of               both               hetero               and               homo               sexually               oriented               homo-sapiens               sapiens               than               uniformly               uni-racial               couples               everywhere               that               you               look.

The               offspring               of               these               pairings               are               all               a               varying               shade               of               mocha               or               cocoa.
               I               find               this               phenomenon,               while               for               many               it               may               seem               frightening               and               alien,uplifting,               gratifying               and               cause               for               cautious               optimism               at               these               signs               of               the               times               that               are               coming               faster               and               faster               as               our               little               world               motors               faster               and               faster               along               the               road               of               life.

Kids               these               days               don't               say               things               like               all               black               people               are,               or               those               Mexican               kids               they               all,               they               actually               interact               and               interface               with               one               another               on               a               first               name               basis.

Never               mind               the               fact               that               more               people               have               some               kind               of               crazy               sounding               handle               or               are               carrying               around               stacks               of               business               cards               emblazoned               with               incomprehensible               ancient               symbol               like               that               they               hand               to               each               other               as               means               of               introducing               themselves               the               artist               who               as               far               as               we               are               concerned               is               still               known               as               Prince.

The               day               is               coming               when               people               will               not               speak               of               groups               of               people               as               them,               they,               the               other               group.

They               refer               to               one               another               with               mutual               respect               and               budding               curiosity               and               interest               rather               than               suspicion               and               racial               stereotypes.

The               world,               no               matter               what               section               of               it               you               live               in,is               becoming               one,               one               race,               one               people,               and               they               are               opening               their               hearts               and               minds               to               a               multi-culturally               influenced               "Flow"               and               are               celebrating               the               similarities               and               friendships               that               they               are               developing               amongst               one               another.

So               the               next               time               you               and               your               spouse               are               talking               to               your               child               and               you               look               at               each               other               afterward               and               say,               "Did               you               understand               what               he/she               just               said?"               Don't               panic,               relax,               smile,               and               know               that               your               children               are               equipped               for               the               brave               new               and               exiting               world               of               tomorrow,               right               here               and               now.

Ain't               it               just               "groovy               dude"?
               We               may               not               understand               a               single               word               that               they               say               but               they               all               understand               each               other               and               that               is               great!

    First,               to               give               you               some               background,               and               quickly,               (I               promise)               I               wanted               you               to               know               this               article               has               taken               me               over               10               years               to               write.

    No,               not               literally,               but               with               all               the               research               involved,               it               does               take               time               for               testing               and               trials.

    So               enjoy               the               fruits               of               my               labor!

    "There's               nothing               like               a               freshly               installed               copy               of               Firefox,               which               is,               in               my               view,               the               best               software               package,               but               what               makes               this               open-source               browser               so               special               is               the               ability               to               customize               it               via               extensions               and               themes               to               really               make               it               yours.

    The               problem               is,               there               are               so               many               available               addons,               it's               tough               to               know               what's               worth               installing               and               what's               just               going               to               junk               up               your               system."               -               Computerworld
                   I've               been               using               Mozilla               Firefox               for               about               10               years               now               (my               current               version               is;               Firefox               3.6.8               because               the               newest               one               4.

    seems               to               have               gliches               with               many               addons               and               extensions)               and               have               never               been               happier.

    Like               many               writers,               researchers,               bloggers               and               freelancers               have               found               out,               IE               (Internet               Explorer)               isn't               as               safe               or               as               user               friendly               as               they'd               like               you               to               believe,               and               I               even               tried               Opera               for               awhile,               but               there's               too               many               sites               and               functions               it's               not               compatible               with               to               warrant               using.

    Firefox               is               an               all               around               better               browser               and               much               more               customizable               as               far               as               I'm               concerned.
                   Over               the               years               I've               found               many               addons               from               Firefox               that               were               great               for               awhile               and               turned               out               not               so               great               after               using               them,               or               have               found               others               that               have               been               replaced               or               combined               into               a               single               addon               that               are               so               handy               for               my               research,               I               couldn't               live               without               them               now.

    Many               of               the               extensions               have               problems,               so               to               find               out               which               ones               are               'problematic'               I               looked               up               Mozilla               Knowledgebase               as               well               as               their               bug               tracker               to               do               some               research               and               found               many               addons               and               extensions               that               have               performance               related               issues...but               I'll               save               that               issue               for               another               article               as               this               one               is               focusing               on               the               best.
                   So,               without               further               ado...
                   Here's               a               list               of               my               favorite               top               12               "must               have"               Mozilla               Firefox               addons               for               any               online               writer,               researcher,               blogger               or               freelancer:               (in               no               particular               order)
                   1.

    Mozilla               Firefox               Addon:               Web               Search               Pro               
                   Web               Search               Pro               is               perfect               for               the               researcher               who's               always               looking               up               information               from               multiple               sources.

    With               Web               Search               Pro,               you               can               "Search               the               web               the               way               you               like."               It's               a               new               and               innovative               way               to               search               the               web:               just               select               any               text               (by               highlighting               it)               and               a               drop               down               box               opens               to               choose               from               any               search               engine               or               type               of               search               you'd               like               to               accomplish.

    Really               easy               and               handy               for               a               writer,               researcher,               blogger               or               freelancer.

    Just               select               as               many               Search               Engines               as               you               like;               for               instance;               Wikipedia,               IMDB,               Google,               Yahoo,               AllRecipes;               (reference,               music,               movies,               food,               computer               &               tech               are               just               a               few               categories               you               can               choose               your               search               from)               all               completely               customizable               and               easy               to               use.

    Mozilla               Firefox               Addon:               AddThis               
                   I               use               this               often,               in               conjunction               with               HootSuite,               as               HootSuite               only               includes               social               media               so               this               is               pertinent               for               quickly               sharing               your               articles               and               content.

    "AddThis               for               Firefox               is               the               best               add-on               to               make               sharing               and               bookmarking               simple.

    Have               all               your               favorite               web               2.0               social               networking,               bookmarking,               blogging,               and               e-mail               services               at               your               fingertips.

    Share               any               page,               anytime,               with               anyone."

    Mozilla               Firefox               Addon:               *Zotero               
                   "Pronounced               [zoh-TAIR-oh]               is               a               free,               easy-to-use               Firefox               extension               to               help               you               collect,               manage,               and               cite               your               research               sources."               This               is               especially               handy               if               you               are               writing               a               larger               piece               with               multiple               layers               and               have               multiple               sources.

    I               use               it               for               keeping               track               of               ideas               with               their               resources               at               a               glance               both               for               future               and               current               articles.

    It               sits               at               the               bottom               of               your               screen               so               anytime               you               are               visiting               a               site               with               good               info               you               want               to               save               for               future               (or               current)               use,               just               click               on               zotero               and               it               opens               up               at               the               bottom               half               of               the               page               your               on,               then               you               just               select               (highlight)               the               info               you               want               to               keep               and               create               a               new               item               or               note               with               the               links               intact.

    Awesome!

    It               also               keeps               everything               nice               and               neat               in               folders               (you               create)               in               your               library.

    Mozilla               Firefox               Addon:Split               Browser               
                   Split               Browser               addon               has               been               a               life               saver.

    Pasting               from               one               tab               to               another               can               be               both               bothersome               and               cumbersome.

    "This               extension               makes               the               process               a               breeze               by               splitting               your               browser               window               into               two               (or               three,               or               four)               panels,               allowing               for               instant               copying               and               pasting               between               pages."               It's               so               cool,               you               won't               know               how               you               managed               without               it.
                   5.

    Mozilla               Firefox               Addon:               Word               Count               Plus;               
                   I               don't               use               this               as               often               as               I               should,               but               when               needed,               it's               sure               a               handy               dandy               to               have               around.

    Word               Count               Plus               does               just               what               you               think               it               would               plus               a               lot               more.

    It               counts               number               of               words               in               selected               text               and               can               add               the               count               to               a               running               total.

    Pefect               for               those               who               need               to               keep               track               of               how               many               words,               characters               and               other               statistics               of               your               written               work.

    There               are               a               few               versions               of               Word               Count               Plus               and               some               have               gliches               or               bugs               with               older               (and               some               newer)               versions               of               Firefox,               but               this               one               is               a               newer               version,               and               seems               to               work               ok               for               me.
                   6.

    Mozilla               Firefox               Addon:               Read               it               Later;               
                   Read               it               Later               another               great               one               to               have               around               too.

    Those               of               us               who               write               for               a               living               also               read,               a               LOT,               and               don't               always               have               time               to               get               to               everything               we               need               to               all               at               once.

    Read               it               Later               does               just               what               you'd               think               it               would;               it               saves               pages               to               read               later               with               just               one               click.

    Then,               when               you               have               time,               you               can               access               your               reading               list               from               any               computer               or               phone,               even               without               an               internet               connection!
                   7.

    Mozilla               Firefox               Addon:               Answers               Search               
                   Answers               is               super               for               looking               up               something               quick.

    Famous               for               "1-Click               Answers"               TM,               Answers               will               save               you               even               more               time               with               Answer               Tips               that               instantly               deliver               the               information               you               are               looking               for.

    Just               point               at               any               word,               hold               the               Alt               key               (or               "Ctrl"               in               Linux,               or               "Option"               key               on               a               Mac)               and               click.

    Upon               letting               go,               an               Answer               Tip               in               the               form               of               a               pop-up               comes               to               your               rescue...in               other               words,               this               one's               as               simple               as               it               gets:by               holding               down               the               Alt               key               and               clicking               on               a               word,               the               window               that               pops               up               with               information               about               that               word               comes               from               Answers.com.

    (You               can               have               the               results               displayed               in               a               full               window               if               you'd               rather.)               There's               also               a               "More"               button               in               the               pop-up               that'll               open               a               new               tab               with               the               full               Answers.com               results               page.

    For               phrases,               you               still               have               to               highlight,               right-click               and               choose               "Look               up               on               Answers.com"               to               get               results               in               a               new               tab.

    Answers               is               still               very               helpful               and               speedy.

    Mozilla               Firefox               Addon:               Fox               Lingo/Translator/Dictionary;               
                   Fox               Lingo/Translator/Dictionary               is               a               super               tool               for               those               of               us               who               like               to               search               outside               our               own               language.

    It               does               so               much               more               than               just               translate               and               has               helped               in               many               instances               when               I               came               across               something               that               looked               interesting               but               was               in               another               language               and               helped               me               decipher               the               meanings               as               well               as               the               actual               translation.

    It               also               includes               a               "               Web               page               and               text               translator,               dictionary,               grammar               checker,               auto               translation,               text-to-speech,               and               language               learning               services.

    Supports               over               3,000               unique               language               pairs               and               31               online               translators,               including               Google               Translate,               Wikipedia,               and               Babylon.

    Languages:               Arabic,               Chinese,               Czech,               Danish,               Dutch,               English,               French,               German,               Greek,               Hebrew,               Hungarian,               Icelandic,               Italian,               Japanese,               Korean,               Norwegian,               Polish,               Portuguese,               Romanian,               Russian,               Spanish,               Swedish,               Turkish,               Ukrainian".

    Simply               Amazing.

    Mozilla               Firefox               Addon:               SEO               Blogger;               
                   SEO               Blogger               allows               you               to               find               the               most               sought-after               keywords               for               your               post               without               ever               leaving               your               blog               editing               screen.

    This               tool               helps               to               get               a               synonym               for               the               keyword               during               your               search               on               Google,               which               helps               for               better               SEO               by               using               Google's               own               Synonyms               (also               refered               as               Latent               Semantic               Indexing               (LSI)               )               and               is               a               vital               element               in               Search               Engine               Optimization               for               blooging,               article               writing               and               more.

    Mozilla               Firefox               Addon:               Flagfox               
                   Flagfox               is               one               of               the               best               up               and               coming               addons.

    This               is               a               new               one               for               me,               but               I               had               to               include               it               in               this               list               because               of               all               the               amazing               things               it               claims.

    I'm               still               trying               this               one               out               but,               right               now               all               I               can               say               is,               "Wow".

    "Flagfox               is               an               extension               that               displays               a               flag               icon               indicating               the               current               webserver's               physical               location.

    Knowing               where               you're               connected               to               adds               an               extra               layer               of               awareness               to               your               browsing               and               can               be               useful               to               indicate               the               native               languages               and               legal               jurisdictions               that               may               apply.

    Clicking               the               flag               icon               loads               the               default               action,               Geotool,               which               gives               a               detailed               map               showing               the               city               the               server               is               in               and               other               useful               information               such               as               its               local               time               and               ISP.

    Many               other               actions               are               available               for               a               wide               range               of               uses               such               as:               Site               safety               and               malware               checks,               Finding               similar               sites               and               reviews,               Automatic               translation               to               your               language,               SEO               and               web               development               research,               Whois               and               DNS               information,               Quick               URL               shortening,               Copying               a               server's               IP               address               or               other               info,               or               you               can               create               your               own               custom               actions!

    Troubled               by               tracking?

                   Mozilla               Firefox               Addon:               Greasemonkey               
                   For               the               computer               saavy               writer,               you               may               really               like               this               one.

    I               don't               personally               use               it               as               it's               just               too               complicated               for               little               'ole               me,               but               as               thousands               of               users               and               computerworld               says,               "Greasemonkey               is               a               really               nifty               extension               to               use,               as               long               as               you               know               what               you're               doing               with               it.

    It               can               potentially               get               you               in               trouble               because               it               allows               JavaScripts               written               by               other               people               to               run               in               Firefox,               and               can               drain               CPU.

    If               one               of               those               scripts               is               malicious,               your               system               could               be               at               risk.

    To               stay               out               of               trouble,               you               should               use               Greasemonkey               only               with               scripts               you               know               are               safe,               either               because               you're               familiar               enough               with               JavaScript               to               satisfy               yourself               or               because               the               script               has               enough               comments               at               userscripts.org               to               indicate               that               people               are               using               it               with               no               ill               effects.
