Review of google latin translator::Can someone translate from English to Latin for me - Ask ...

One               of               the               most               controversial               Scriptures               in               the               Bible               concerns               itself               with               the               following               passage:               "When               human               beings               began               to               increase               in               number               on               the               earth               and               daughters               were               born               to               them,               the               sons               of               God               saw               that               the               daughters               of               humans               were               beautiful,               and               they               married               any               of               them               they               chose.

Then               the               LORD               said,               'My               Spirit               will               not               contend               with               humans               forever,               for               they               are               mortal,               their               days               will               be               a               hundred               and               twenty               years.'               The               Nephilim               were               on               the               earth               in               those               days               and               also               afterward               when               the               sons               of               God               went               to               the               daughters               of               humans               and               had               children               by               them.

They               were               the               heroes               of               old,               men               of               renown.

The               LORD               saw               how               great               the               wickedness               of               the               human               race               had               become               on               the               earth,               and               that               every               inclination               of               the               thoughts               of               the               human               heart               was               only               evil               all               the               time.

The               LORD               regretted               that               He               had               made               human               beings               on               the               earth,               and               His               heart               was               deeply               troubled.

So               the               LORD               said,               'I               will               wipe               from               the               face               of               the               earth               the               human               race               I               have               created               and               with               them               the               animals,               the               birds               and               the               creatures               that               move               along               the               ground               for               I               regret               that               I               have               made               them.'               But               Noah               found               favor               in               the               eyes               of               the               LORD"               (Gen               6:1-8,               NIV).
It               is               thought               by               many               that               the               pre-Flood               Nephilim               were               literally               angels               from               heaven,               and               some               say               the               Nephilim               were               the               ancestors               of               the               Olympian               gods.

This,               of               course,               is               problematic               in               lieu               of               Genesis               6:               1-8               where               God               says               He               will               destroy               all               mankind               along               with               the               animals               with               the               exception               of               Noah               and               his               family.

However,               as               we               shall               see,               some               memories               of               people               and               cities               before               the               Flood               could               be               recalled               by               Noah               and               his               family.

God               gave               Noah               and               his               family               a               new               start,               but               they               did               not               start               with               a               blank               mind.

They               were               able               to               remember               everything               in               their               exceedingly               longevity               before               the               Flood               (Noah               was               600               years               old               when               he               began               to               build               the               ark)               which               was               passed               down               to               Moses.
However,               many               scholars               believe               that,               in               the               light               of               historical               tradition,               the               Nephilim               were               actually               very               large               humans               called               giants.

The               name               Nephilim               is               not               in               the               King               James               Version               in               this               pre-Flood               account,               but               Nephilim               does               appear               after               the               Flood               in               Numbers               13:33.

In               fact,               when               we               researched               an               Interlinear               Hebrew               Bible               1               ,               we               found               in               Genesis               6:4               and               Numbers               13:               33               the               term               giants               where               the               name               Nephilim               -               -''¤-Æ'"               '..."-Æ'"               ''¢"...'¾''¢-')2)               should               be.
People               who               were               close               to               the               Creation               were               almost               perfect               in               their               genetic               makeup               and               mental               capacities.

One               may               assume               that               Noah               and               his               family               remembered               the               places               people               lived               before               the               Flood.

Having               a               global               Flood               would               certainly               change               much               of               the               topography,               yet               the               main               regions               would               have               stayed               similar.

High               mountain               ranges               and               lower               levels               may               be               somewhat               recognizable               after               the               Flood               waters               receded.

Old               memories               of               people               and               places               would               also               have               remained.

Perhaps               some               of               the               names               of               pre-Flood               cities,               like               the               names               of               pre-Flood               people,               remained               in               the               memories               of               Noah               and               his               family,               and               certainly               names               of               pre-Flood               cities               could               have               been               commemorated               in               the               naming               of               new               cities               in               the               regions               of               the               earth               where               they               once               used               to               exist               before               the               Flood.

Modern               man               has               commemorated               beloved               places               left               behind               when               discovering               new               places,               like               the               colonists               of               America               did               when               naming               cities               like               New               York,               New               Orleans               and               Versailles,               Indiana,               etc.,               which               might               have               been               the               case               when               Noah's               sons               and               their               descendants               spread               out               over               the               earth               and               named               the               post-Flood               cities.

We               believe               that               the               Semitic               tribes               (Arabs               and               Hebrews)               were               descended               from               Noah's               son,               Shem,               where               we               get               the               name               Semite.

This               passage               is               found               in               the               book               of               Zechariah               where               we               read,               "Then               lifted               I               up               mine               eyes,               and               looked,               and,               behold,               there               came               out               two               women,               and               the               wind               was               in               their               wings;               for               they               had               wings               like               the               wings               of               a               stork:               and               they               lifted               up               the               ephah               between               the               earth               and               the               heaven.

Then               said               I               to               the               angel               that               talked               with               me,               ''''¹..."whither               do               these               bear               the               ephah?'               "               (Zechariah               5:               9-10).

Consider               for               a               moment               that               Zechariah               does               not               refer               to               these               females               as               angels,               but               women               with               stork               wings               and               these               creatures               are               never               referred               to               again               in               Scripture;               yet               the               person               with               whom               he               is               talking               is               identified               as               an               angel,               and               angels               are               referred               to               in               the               Bible               around               300               times.

We               have               examples               of               creatures               that               seem               to               defy               nature               in               the               world               today.

Is               it               hard               to               believe               that               God               would               create               a               mammal               that               would               have               characteristics               of               a               bird?

Consider               the               duckbilled               platypus;               it               is               venomous               like               a               snake,               has               the               bill               of               a               duck               and               lays               eggs               like               a               duck,               but               it               is               a               mammal               with               the               fury               body               of               an               otter               and               the               tail               of               a               beaver!

When               it               was               first               discovered,               some               scientists               believed               it               was               an               elaborate               hoax.

The               point               being               is               that               God               did               create               creatures               that               defy               science               and               sometimes               it               seems               impossible               for               us               to               believe               that               they               can               exist.
               7               Tabrets--the               small               cymbal-like               parts               of               a               tambourine
               8               Pipes--a               small               woodwind               instrument
9               See               footnote               6               where               we               addressed               theargument               that               there               are               no               females               in               the               Bible               An               argument               to               the               statement               that               there               are               no               females               in               the               Bibl               .
